In a world filled with popular tourist spots and guidebook must-sees, I find the Interesting, Unique and Unforgettable. Growing up in the military, I had already seen most of the US, Europe and Asia before I turned 21! That included living in Germany, Japan and 9 States. It was no surprise that I became a flight attendant and continued to travel. When I flew internationally, I was eager to explore new places. I had visited the well-trodden paths before and this time sought to deep dive into the heart and soul of a destination! I talked to everybody, specifically those that intimately knew their way around who were well-travelled and they were more than willing to share. I developed a comprehensive list with the best things to do, cool places to go and where to eat and drink all over the world. Uncovering the hidden gems of a city was the goal. Layovers were new, fun and exciting. I shared my "itineraries" with everyone. My friends came to me for travel advice and planned their vacations. I also started planning local things to do, basically creating a reason to get people together when we weren't flying. I did that for 10 years! Eventually I was planning my own family vacations and kids activities. So what started as a little hobby is now my passion!
