Hello,
I was born and raised in a small town in France, a couple of hours North of Bordeaux. Food & Wine come with the culture, from the family reunion to the cafeteria at school. I remember the hour lunch, where we were served appetizer, entree and dessert. I also have great memories of the Sunday lunch my Mom used to prepare. I believe it is where my interest for food started! While my mother was making lunch, I was in charge of the dessert.
I decided to take my passion for food to the next level. I attended 4 years in culinary school, learning the base and traditional French cooking. Now growing up close to the Bordeaux area, it is mostly impossible not to get involved with wine. However, my most enjoyable memory is getting together with family and friends where everyone brought their own harvest of fruits, and made "eau de vie".
Studying food expended my horizon. So many other region I wanted to go to. From the Alsatian Flammekuche to the Cassoulet Toulousain, I spent an entire year traveling across the country, discovering each area speciality.
I became a travel advisor to share my passion for food, wine and Europe with you. I am an expert on French travel opportunities for guests of all ages who enjoy food, cooking, wine and culture. I speak fluent English and French and look forward to helping you achieve your joie de vivre.
