I have served in the US military and traveled and toured for over 20 years.  I received my college education from the US Naval Academy.  I am married with five (5) children and five (5) grand children.  While traveling, I have visited cultures in most of the continents (Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia).  My travels have taken me to many countries where I have been exposed to the people, and way of life. I have learned to respect the culture, but also find common ground among the people. 

   While growing up, our family relocated from the East to the West coast that was caused by the orders my farther received while serving the US Navy.  It was a bit hard leaving established friends, but soon made friends upon arriving at our new duty station.  Moving made me aware of the different climate changes from Connecticut in the North East to San Diego in the South West.  Settling in San Diego is where I completed my primary education before attending the US Naval Academy. 

After graduation, I was stationed back in San Diego aboard a guided missile cruiser that served as my duty station for three years.  Our orders provided me and the crew plenty of opportunity to travel the Western and Southern parts of the Pacific stopping at numerous ports of call (Hawaii, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Mexico and Africa).  Although the transportation was not as speedy, the travel time allowed us to ease into the different time zones and make preparation for the new culture we would soon encounter. 

I continued to travel and tour after serving in the Navy with my family.  We cruised the Caribbean islands, and the Hawaiian Islands.  We also spent time in Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.  We traveled and toured the UAE dividing our time between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.  One of the highlights of this vacation was the desert tour.  Our children became exposed and educated about the different cultures and places they encountered. 

Golf is another passion that I have.  Someone said it is a “game you can play, but never win.”  I have taken this game with me (if possible) whenever I travel.  It adds to the adventure of the destination in learning about the courses, who manages them, and provides a challenge to play the courses.  The scenery surrounding of most of these courses are breath taking.  Ask about how you can “Fly and Drive” to take your game on your next vacation.
