I have a great amount of knowledge regarding all different types of travel. From custom vacations to guided tours and cruises I love finding the perfect fit for my clients. With so many options available everyone has a type of travel they enjoy. Those types of travel can evolve as we grow. I have helped independent travelers who are just starting their wanderlust in life and young families who are on a budget but want to expose their children to new places. Cathy was a dream to work with. From the very beginning she understood our expectations and she exceeded each and every one. Her knowledge was spot on and she went above and beyond! The day of our sailing we noticed that my daughter's birthdate was wrong on the paperwork. So on the way to the port, she called the cruise line and took care of it, so that there was no confusion once we checked in. She took the stress away from what could of been added while checking-in. Thank you Cathy!!!

An Amazing Trip to Italy!

From start to finish, Cathy made sure that our daughter had an amazing trip to Italy. She found the best flights and great hotels. Her knowledge of Italy was fantastic. Cathy was awesome to work with! Our last minute family vacation to Italy needed a quick turnaround. She really took the time to understand what we wanted from our trip and made our dreams a reality. She was able to book us rooms as a family (with a hot breakfast included!), handle transfers and train rides between cities, and suggested destinations we would have never thought of on our own. Cathy went above and beyond in ensuring we had a memorable experience! I valued her attention to details and her ability to thoroughly answer all our questions. I will definitely be asking Cathy to plan future vacations!

Thank you to Cathy for putting together the most incredible trip for our family. With three very different kids ranging in age from 16 to 22, we have never before experienced a trip that every one of us (including my husband and I) said this was the best trip ever and can we do another one?! We are an active family and Backroads provided the "perfect adventure." Cathy worked with Backroads, as well as others on the ground in Costa Rica to add some downtime on the front and backend. We could not recommend her more highly. She thought of every detail! We are looking forward to booking our next adventure with Cathy.

Italian Dream Trip!
Ralph and I took our dream trip last month. We spent 2 weeks in Italy! The first few days we toured the incredible city of Rome, followed by a week in the Tuscan town of Montecatini Terme- with day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and San Gimignano-and finished our trip in Bologna.
