Growing up, I never had the opportunity to travel, and it always seemed like the type of adventure that I would love. By the time I reached adulthood, I knew that I wanted to make travel an important part of my life, which is why I pursued a degree in travel and tourism. My first trip to Disney World was in my 20s, and my husband and I spent the first part of our marriage traveling the globe while I worked in the hospitality industry.

I love every aspect of traveling — from the first inspirations for a new destination that lead to the planning process to the memories that are made while you are away on vacation. For me, it was an easy choice to become a full-time travel professional and open up my own home-based agency.

I am a certified AmResorts specialist and have visited many of their properties myself.
• Cruises — My goal is to enjoy one cruise vacation every year, and my family and I have traveled on most of the major cruise lines. I can provide my clients with expert recommendations for the best ships, the most exciting excursions and the most alluring destinations.

Recently, I became a certified Australia specialist and had the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind itinerary for a couple that will be enjoying their dream trip to the Land Down Under in the spring of 2016. My excitement for planning my clients' trips is contagious, and I particularly love when I am presented with the challenge of creating an itinerary for a new, exotic destination.
