Through travel, I uncovered the secret of spending the best quality time with my family. While raising my own family of four, I enjoyed planning getaways to experience and explore together. Whether on a lengthy vacation or a quick weekend getaway, we found that we were laughing, smiling, and making amazing memories. Upon our return, my husband and I always felt refreshed and ready to take on daily work life again. Recognizing the joy that travels brought my family, I wanted to be able to share that same joy with others. As a Certified Destination Wedding Expert and a Certified Travel Agent, I get to achieve precisely that.
How do I stand out from other travel agents?
- I think the most significant difference in working with me is that I take the time to listen to my client's wants and needs. I don't just quote any package to make a sale. Nor will I propose a package based merely on the lowest price because, in the end, that practice will not be to the traveler's advantage. I take peoples' vacation very seriously, so when I present an option, It will be completely personalized and tailored to your family or group. My job is to work for you. The truth is that not everyone enjoys the same amenities, so I will focus on creating your best experience instead.
- I strive to make travelers feel at ease. Therefore I'm available as much as possible to ensure everyone in the group enjoys a stress-free vacation.
How do I keep up with the changes?
- Continuing education is the key to this. Not only I go through countless online training throughout the year to refresh old and to get to know new brands as they come out. If there is one brand or provider that catches my eye for my clients, then I will go more in-depth to research. Finally, I often travel, visit, and experience those that I spotted. By the way, this is the only way suppliers make it to my recommended list or not.
- I belong in good standing to the most reputable associations in the travel industry, which gives me extra insider's help when it comes to staying on the known with travel changes.
What is your favorite part of your job?
- It is a blessing to be able to work on what I love doing. I'm a Virgo, the planner sign of the astrology world, so planning as a profession is nature for me. I'm also a traveler by heart because I'm curious, so all of these life facts make it easy for me to love my job as a complete package. I would add to this, the part of seeing the happy faces on the pictures of some of my traveler's social media status, always making my day! I personally know some of my travelers, and when we get together, listening to their stories becomes is a very joyful conversation. Someone once had a tale about what it is to eat insects for their first time in a foreign country. Others tell me about funny stories with their groups.
